I've been reading up a lot on old Earth history and superstitions, and I noticed that a lot of cultures had notions that the world had edges, or if you strayed beyond a certain point there were monsters, or things like that. Which is interesting to me, because where I'm from, that's all true.

Not the world being flat, I mean, but the Dark Continent. The 'Outside'.

But I can't be the only one whose world has a place like that, right? Does that sound familiar to anyone?
